If you talk to my brother, he’d probably tell you I’m a very outgoing, personable individual; much more so than he is. He’s formed this opinion after years of watching and listening to me spew witty and comical comments amongst close friends and family. The truth of the matter is, I’m like most people. I’m completely unguarded in familiar territory and typically more reserved around people I’m meeting for the first time. One thing I can say, however, is that I’ve come to learn one thing in business and networking environments that makes all the difference: the bigger personality during the first face-to-face encounter usually has the upper hand.
